heycater! was founded in autumn 2015 with the mission of revolutionising the B2B catering market. The idea was born when our co-founder Therese Köhler wanted to organise catering for a photo shoot - which turned out to be extremely difficult. It had to be easier to order high-quality catering according to your own wishes.
Today, over 2,500 active business customers and 500 catering partners work with heycater! in the largest cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We have made it our mission to make business catering easy, fast and absolutely uncomplicated.
We give companies easy and flexible access to great catering while removing the complexity for first-class catering providers. For our caterers, we are the „digital back office“ that facilitates the planning and handling of catering and enables additional sales.

Reliability in every situation
If a caterer unexpectedly cancels, we will stand by your side and organise a replacement as quickly as possible. This will ensure that your event is still a complete success.
Our service promise
If something does not go to your satisfaction, we will take care of complaint management and refund you (pro rata) if necessary.

heycater! has a partnership with Vytal, a company that offers reusable packaging for food. Through this partnership, heycater! promotes the use of reusable packaging, which reduces single-use waste and thus minimises the environmental impact.

heycater! attaches great importance to the efficient planning of catering and events and the precise calculation of dishes and people, which helps to minimise food waste. This is not only good for the environment, but also helps to save resources.
4. Promotion of vegetarian/vegan options
By offering vegetarian and vegan catering options, heycater! helps to reduce the consumption of animal products, which in turn reduces water consumption, land use and greenhouse gas emissions.
5. heycater! is climate neutral
Hey Group GmbH has balanced 25 tonnes of CO2 in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and offset it through Gold Standard-certified projects. heycater! participates in voluntary emissions trading and contributes to a liveable environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
